Will Bain, Interim Host

Will has worked across the BBC World Service’s business output during nine years at the BBC. As a presenter on World Business Report and Business Matters he has reported from around the world on everything from strikes on the streets of Paris to Chinese investment in Africa. Prior to the World Service Will was a journalist at BBC Wales and away from work he endures a hopeless lifelong love affair with Aston Villa Football Club.

Jo Critcher, Senior Journalist & Team Manager

Jo has worked across the BBC’s global and domestic radio networks for the last fourteen years. She was the editor of the evening news and business programme on BBC Radio 5 live for many years and is a veteran studio producer. Jo is an experienced news-reader and reporter and has produced and presented BBC World Service podcasts. She also piloted how to use BBC news content on the Amazon Alexa.

Katie Barnfield, Producer

Katie has ten years of experience as a journalist across UK and international newsrooms. She joined the BBC after working as a correspondent and producer for Sky News, ITV News and CNBC. She has reported on major business, consumer and economics stories from UK budgets to the Post Office Horizon scandal, and now works on Marketplace Morning Report bringing the best of the BBC's journalism to Marketplace's international audience.

James Graham, Producer

After a career in newspapers James Graham joined the BBC in 2015 and spent six years covering business on the national news radio station 5 Live. More recently he’s been a key part of the World Service business team working across a range of live programmes and making short documentaries.
