Leanna is a seasoned business journalist, joining the team with 10 years’ experience from across a range of BBC content. This includes hosting and contributing to high-profile BBC programs such as Business Matters and World Business Report on the BBC World Service and Wake Up To Money on BBC Radio 5 Live. She has also worked as a Business Reporter for both BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Ulster. Before joining the BBC, Leanna cut her teeth in the world of business news as a reporter for the Sunday Business Post in her hometown of Dublin in Ireland.

Jo Critcher, Senior Journalist & Team Manager

Jo has worked across the BBC’s global and domestic radio networks for the last fourteen years. She was the editor of the evening news and business programme on BBC Radio 5 live for many years and is a veteran studio producer. Jo is an experienced news-reader and reporter and has produced and presented BBC World Service podcasts. She also piloted how to use BBC news content on the Amazon Alexa.

Olie D’Albertanson, Senior Journalist

Olie has worked for the BBC for over 20 years working in TV and Radio covering the major sports events and the business of sport. He joined the Marketplace Morning Report team so that he could report and produce the stories that matter to him most – namely international business and the geopolitical events and their impacts on worldwide economies. He is a keen stock trader and co-founder of a charity in the UK called Little Green Sock Project who help alleviate the impact of poverty on children.

James Graham, Producer

After a career in newspapers James Graham joined the BBC in 2015 and spent six years covering business on the national news radio station 5 Live. More recently he’s been a key part of the World Service business team working across a range of live programmes and making short documentaries.
