Host, Time Machine from The Current

Bill DeVille brings a deep well of musical knowledge to The Current's airwaves. DeVille hosts and curates United States of Americana, which specializes in the roots-oriented side of The Current, as well as Time Machine Tuesday, a weekly show focusing on a year and its music, news and pop culture. He's hosted several in-studio and virtual live sessions with such luminaries as Rosanne Cash and Justin Townes Earle, as well as with newcomers like J.D. McPherson.
DeVille has been with The Current since its inception in 2005. When he’s not there, he can be found offering expert insight as a speaker at events like Americana Fest and spinning Americana records at venues across the Twin Cities.
