Hosts

Gabi Glass: Gaby is a violist and educator working primarily in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A versatile and accomplished musician, she has performed with Atlanta Symphony, Houston Grand Opera, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and New Haven Symphony. Ms. Glass is passionate about teaching and is devoted to empowering young minds through the power of music and has curated musical programs at both the Cleveland Clinic and Texas Children's Hospital. She is an active member of the Sphinx Organization, a group dedicated to bringing diversity to the arts. It’s her passion to share music with those who need it the most, and has dedicated a lot of time to develop initiatives to champion diversity in the arts. Gabrielle loves to read and spend time with her husband and their rescue pup, Sgt. Pepper.

Julie Amacher: Julie Amacher's desire to introduce others to great music is what led her to radio. She began her professional broadcast career at a station in Sun Prairie, Wis. She went from rock 'n' roll to the Rocky Mountains, where she found her niche in public radio at KUNC in Greeley, Colo. Julie spent 13 years at KUNC, where she managed the announcers and their eclectic music format. During that time, she earned four national awards for best announcer. She joined Minnesota Public Radio in 1997 as an on-air host and also produces New Classical Tracks, a weekly podcast critiquing a new release each week.
